Our client is seeking a Project Manager to support an ongoing Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) deployment within an application development environment. This individual will manage key project activities, including coordinating statements of work, purchase orders, software licensing, vendor deliverables, and cross-functional stakeholders.
The Project Manager will oversee governance and approval processes, including confidentiality agreements, information security reviews, privacy and legal assessments, and AI governance requirements. They will proactively identify and escalate risks while keeping project timelines, deliverables, and dependencies on track.
This role is focused on driving the successful execution of an established project through meeting coordination, stakeholder communication, deliverable tracking, and schedule management. The PM will work closely with Business Analysts, technical teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery. The ideal candidate will have experience working within pharmaceutical or biotech R&D environments and a strong understanding of GxP regulations, computer system validation (CSV), and regulatory submission processes. Pay is around 70/hr

Skills and Requirements
-7-10 years’ experience as an IT PM working on application development projects
-5 recent years’ experience working in pharma or biotech R&D environments, GxP and computer system validation expectations, and regulatory submission processes
-Strong knowledge and understanding of LIMS systems
-Experience working within research, r&d, clinical or relevant area
-Strong fundamentals in tracking deliverables, partnering with stakeholders, managing project documentation, and presenting on status updates.
-Ability to maintain and support an existing project without disrupting progress
-Comfortable working closely with Business Analysts and technical teams -Strong organizational and communication skills Experience with Sapio (Laboratory Information Management System)

Pharmaceutical, biotech, or laboratory systems experience
Experience working in regulated environments
Previous experience managing application deployment projects
