Full job description
Location: Vollrath Company, Kiel, Wisconsin
Shift: 2nd Shift (Start: 2:00 PM | End: 10:30 PM - 12:30 AM)
Pay: $26.95/hour (+ $1.00 Shift Premium)
Sign-On Bonus: $3,000
A Welding Test Will Be Required and Conducted During The In-Person Interview. Must Pass to be considered for the position.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform welding, grinding, wrapping, foaming, and assembly of evaporator hoppers, barrels, and related components

Work from blueprints, process sheets, schedules, or independently establish procedures and sequences when documentation is not available

Set up and operate a variety of mechanical equipment, including welding, grinding, wrapping, extruding, spot welding, polishing, and foaming equipment

Layout components, perform tooling and fixture setups, and identify or develop basic tooling as needed

Organize materials and maintain workflow to meet production timelines within engineering specifications

Support and maintain a lean pull system from barrel welding through final foaming

Monitor equipment and product quality; identify malfunctions, improper fits, or operational issues, and take corrective action

Maintain welding equipment and work areas to ensure safe and efficient operations

Perform material handling and adhere to all housekeeping and safety standards

Assist with troubleshooting, product failure analysis, and occasional in-field service as needed

Collaborate with and support team members; may help schedule others to meet production demand

Perform additional duties as assigned
