Overview

Registered Nurse (RN) - Catheterization Lab

Seeking Registered Nurses for our state-of the art Cardiac Catheterization Lab -

St. Francis Hospital is New York State's only specialty designated cardiac center and offers one of the leading cardiac care programs in the nation. St. Francis physicians performs one of the largest volumes of percutaneous coronary interventions.

We are seeking Registered Nurses to join our Cath Lab team.

The successful candidate will circulate and scrub cardiac diagnostic and percutaneous coronary interventional (PCI) procedures performed in the Cath Lab. The RN will admit and recover pre and post cath patients. The RN will cross-train to hemodynamic monitoring and is responsible to perform hemostasis. The RN provides direct nursing care to patients, assuming responsibility and accountability for the total care of assigned patients. The RN supervises and directs the activities of Patient Care Associates and Cath Lab Assistants. On call required.

  • Graduate of BSN program

  • NYS Nurses License

  • 2 years Critical Care Experience

  • NYS Nurses License

  • 2 years critical experience required

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Life Support (ACLS) required from the American Heart Association

Salary Range

USD $54.48 - USD $82.03 /Hr.

This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
