Job Description:
TEREX is offering an exciting opportunity for an Early Talent Field Service Technician to join our service team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong interest in engineering and heavy machinery who is keen to develop handson technical skills through a structured training and realworld experience.
The successful candidate will support the commissioning, servicing, and repair of TEREX equipment while working alongside experienced Field Service Technicians, with a clear pathway to progress into a full Filed Service role.
Key Responsibilities
Support commissioning, servicing, and repair of TEREX machines in North America.
Assist with mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faultfinding
Carry out inspections, predelivery checks, and basic diagnostics
Complete service reports and technical documentation
Follow TEREX safety, quality, and service procedures
Attend and successfully complete all required training courses.
Represent TEREX professionally when working with customers and dealers
Support the Help Desk Technician, as required
Assist with the display and simulation of equipment and technical presentation
Assist with the development and presentation of training materials
Basic Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, particularly Outlook and Word
Must have a valid driver's license
Be able to obtain a valid passport for overseas travel
Good general mechanical and electrical maintenance skills
Strong interest in engineering, machinery, or technical systems
Willingness to learn in a handson, practical environment
Flexible approach and willingness to travel internationally
Good communication skills and professional attitude
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate/Technical degree
Any handson experience with machinery, vehicles, or servicing
Excellent written and verbal communication skills required, both in-person and over the phone
Ability to work independently and use available resources to complete tasks with minimal supervision
Must interact well with others in a diverse environment and be a team player
Must be dependable and punctual
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Self-motivated and high energy
Logical problem-solving ability
Ability to work within a team as well as on your own initiative with minimal supervision
Ability to work in an environment that is fluid with constantly changing priorities
