Full job description

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Shear Machine Operator to join their team. As a Shear Machine Operator, you will be part of the production department supporting the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Shear Machine Operator

Location: Washington, MO

Pay Range: $19-$20

Shift: Monday-Friday 6am-2pm

What's the Job?

  • Safely move skids of titanium sheet with mobile equipment, such as a forklift

  • Assist team members in physically lifting, moving, and flipping titanium sheets to align on the shear machine for precise cuts

  • Visually inspect sheet surfaces for imperfections and quality issues

  • Use measuring tools like micrometers and thickness gauges to verify sheet dimensions

  • Cut titanium sheets to specified sizes according to detailed customer requirements

What's Needed?

  • Ability to perform basic computer operations and read written instructions

  • Basic understanding of math and proficiency with measuring instruments

  • Physical ability to stand, walk, and handle manual tasks involving materials

  • Visual acuity including close/distance vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment

  • Legal authorization to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available for this role
