LOCATION OF POSITION: Fairport NY 14450;Regional Programs and Services
TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: Substitute Position during the 2026-2027 School Year; Per Diem
STARTING DATE: As need presents
SALARY RANGE: $23.33 per hour or $175 per day
DUTIES:

Plan and provide instruction for students with a variety of disabilities including learning and emotional as well as multiple disabilities in accordance with NYS mandates and standards.

Develop, implement, and evaluate Individual Education Plans (IEPs) to meet student needs.

Provide IEP services resource room and consultant teacher services in accordance with NYS mandates.

Work as a part of a multidisciplinary team to foster collaborative planning and an approach to facilitating and developing work habits and skills.

Communicate effectively with home, school staff, district, and community services.
QUALIFICATIONS:
-
Special Education Certification required.
-
Experience working with students who exhibit learning disabilities preferred.

Experience working with students with disabilities in Math and Science, preferred.

Knowledge and experience with New York State Standards, curriculum, and New York State Assessments.

Knowledge and experience in teaching academic and daily living skills to students with multiple disabilities, preferred.

Physically able to perform essential functions of the position (with or without reasonable accommodation).
