Job Description:

230p-11p Monday-Friday; Some Weekends

  • Transports hazardous waste from the point of generation to a secure storage area, following proper handling and transport protocols.

  • Attends required safety training programs and adheres to job-related safety responsibilities.

  • Promotes effective working relations and collaborates with team members to meet departmental goals.

  • Supervises staff by assigning work, training, evaluating performance, and recommending disciplinary actions or terminations as appropriate.

  • Creates and reviews schedules, approving scheduling requests to ensure adequate staffing.

  • Documents all work performed, including Safety Data Sheets (SDS).

  • Surveys departmental procedures regularly to ensure adherence to acceptable cleaning practices.

  • Resolves patient satisfaction concerns promptly.

  • Manages the distribution and accountability of clean linen supplies.

  • Reviews and updates policies and procedures to ensure compliance.

  • Coordinates and supervises the maintenance of areas to high standards.

  • Provides supplies to designated areas as needed.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field [Required]

  • Ability to maintain equipment and work areas in a clean and safe condition [Required]

  • Able to communicate in English [Required]

  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) [Required]

Education:

  • High School Grad or Equiv [Required]

Work Experience:

  • 1+ leadership/management experience [Preferred]

  • 2+ technical experience [Required]

  • Healthcare experience [Preferred]

Pay Range:

$40,097.00 - $64,155.00
