Overview
Kimley-Horn's Broomfield, Colorado (CO) office is seeking a Dry Utilities Analyst with 2+ years of experience to join their Dry Utilities team! This is not a remote position.
Responsibilities
-
Work on a variety of projects, such as undergrounding overhead electrical and communications lines, coordinating electrical and communications utilities for new developments, photometrics and lighting, natural gas lines, and more

Manage project tasks, project design and permitting, construction coordination, and provide regular communication and guidance with less experienced staff

Utilize technical software programs such as AutoCAD Civil 3D regularly to analyze, produce, and review deliverables for our clients.

Attend meetings and communicate with clients, government entities, and various regulatory agencies to fulfill any regulations and requirements relating to projects

You will work closely and collaboratively with other industry-leading professionals, various jurisdictions, and contractors

In addition to strong technical experience, other responsibilities will include managing project tasks, project design and permitting, construction coordination, and coordinating work with other team members

Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to contribute to the successful completion of assigned projects

Assist in monitoring project progress, budgets, and schedules

As a critical member of the team, you will perform a variety of engineering tasks and will receive both on-the-job and formal training as well as mentorship and exposure to plan production, project financials, and client interactions
Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent (Associate degree preferred)

2+ years of relevant experience

Experience using AutoCAD and Civil 3D

Communicates technical thoughts clearly and concisely

Excellent technical writing skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Salary Range

$70,000 - $110,000

Eligible for performance-based bonuses
