Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Cost Engineer - CSA (Civil, Structural, Architectural) to support large-scale construction projects within the data center and advanced manufacturing space. This individual will be responsible for developing, tracking, and maintaining project budgets related to CSA scopes while partnering closely with project controls, construction managers, estimators, and subcontractors. On a daily basis, they will analyze project costs, evaluate change orders, review contractor pay applications, validate forecast accuracy, and identify cost risks and opportunities throughout the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting CSA construction scopes, performing cost analysis, tracking budget performance, preparing cost reports, and providing financial visibility to project stakeholders. This person should be comfortable working in fast-paced environments with multiple projects and collaborating across cross-functional construction teams to ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget.

Skills and Requirements
3+ years of experience reviewing, validating, negotiating, and processing construction change orders
Experience supporting CSA (Civil, Structural, Architectural) scopes on commercial, industrial, semiconductor, or data center construction projects
Proven ability to analyze contractor change order requests for scope, quantity, labor, equipment, and material cost accuracy
Experience comparing change proposals against contract documents, drawings, specifications, and project budgets
Strong understanding of construction estimating, quantity takeoffs, and cost analysis
Hands-on experience using Procore for change order management, cost tracking, contract administration, and documentation review Data center or semiconductor construction experience
Experience with owner-side project controls or cost engineering
Familiarity with Bluebeam, Primavera P6 or similar project controls tools
