About the Company

LightTable is an AI-powered construction document review platform built for preconstruction teams. We automate cross-document conflict detection across the complex, multi-stakeholder workflows that define how large commercial projects and data centers are designed and built. We recently closed our Series A led by Innovation Endeavors and are in active enterprise deployments with some of the largest GCs and data center builders in the country.

We move fast, we care about the product fit, and we build with AI. We do this not just for our customers, but internally too. You’ll find a hard working team that will give you an incredible opportunity to quickly grow in your career.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead delivery of AI-generated analysis of construction documents for enterprise clients.

  • Ensure seamless coordination across architectural, structural, MEP, and civil disciplines. Heavy focus on issues that affect construction administration.

  • Collaborate closely with the product and engineering teams to shape product development based on client needs.

  • Translate technical insights into clear business value general contractors and data center developers.

  • Partner with clients to design pilot programs, measure impact, and drive adoption of LightTable.

  • Develop case studies and client-facing materials to establish LightTable as a trusted authority.

  • Coordinate with external resources to assist in project deliveries.

Reporting: This role reports directly to the VP of AEC Strategy & Delivery and works cross-functionally with engineering, product, sales and executive leadership.

Success Metrics: Within the first 6 months, success will be measured by:

Ability to understand the development and construction problem space beyond an individual stakeholder and insight for product, sales and delivery direction.

  • Delivery:

  • The number of successful backtests performed to assist the sales process.

  • The number of successful projects delivered.

  • Overall customer satisfaction and delivery efficiency.

  • Product & Engineering:

  • Tangible product feedback loops delivered back to engineering.

  • Clear understanding of the LightTable AI pipeline within 60 days and the ability to collaborate with AI engineers within 90 days.

  • Go to Market

  • Consistent and productive support for Account Executives as the credible subject matter expert (SME) helping to close sales.

  • The number of customer relationships expanded into larger, enterprise-wide agreements.

What We’re Looking For

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in architecture, Construction management or a related field.

  • Experience: 15+ years working in architecture, real estate development or for a general contractor. Ideally you’ve experienced more than one part of the construction ecosystem.

  • AEC Industry Expertise: Extensive experience developing, designing and/or building large commercial projects.

  • Design Integration: Deep knowledge of coordination across disciplines to resolve conflicts, streamline documentation, and support seamless delivery.

  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to connect client delivery with product development and long-term industry adoption.

  • Tech-Savvy Mindset: Comfort with emerging technologies, particularly AI, and ability to bridge traditional AEC workflows with new tools.

Nice to Have

  • Curiosity and empathy for stakeholder incentives across the development process.

  • Experience working directly with real estate developers, general contractors and design teams and an understanding of their decision-making.

  • Broad lens of the industry working across stakeholders. Experience in architecture, design-build agreements and/or development management is a plus.

  • Excellent communication skills - listening, writing and speaking - virtually and in person.

Why Join LightTable AI?

  • Be part of building an AI-first product alongside world-class engineers and experienced founders; Partnering with some of the largest developers and GC’s in the world.

  • Ground-floor opportunity with meaningful equity in a fast-growing company.

  • Real impact — we are bringing change to a slow adapting industry and the impact is real.

  • Benefits: Comprehensive healthcare, equity grants, take-what-you-need PTO, and a collaborative, mission-driven culture.
