Technical Support Engineer EMEA

Description ScyllaDB is looking for a highly motivated hands-on Technical Support Engineer to join our EMEA Technical Support team. We are a leading provider of high-performance NoSQL databases, empowering businesses to achieve unparalleled performance, scale, and reliability for their mission-critical applications. Our innovative database solutions are trusted by top organizations worldwide, delivering exceptional performance and efficiency. Cool things you'll do:

  • You'll be working alongside our largest customers, solving their complex issues - resolving questions on architecture, recovery, security, performance, and everything in between.
  • You'll be an expert resource on best practices in running Scylla at scale, whatever that scale may be.
  • You'll be an advocate for our customers' needs - interfacing with our product management and development teams on their behalf.
  • You will also help build the Knowledge Base around Scylla.

Requirements

  • 3+ years in a Technical Support Engineer position
  • Proven experience supporting enterprise customers in a customer-facing support role.
  • Experience with Linux environments
  • Lifelong learner and capable of multitasking during high-pressure situations.
  • Naturally curious and excited to learn new technologies.
  • Experience with Distributed Systems (Database / Storage)
  • Experience with Docker (Linux)
  • Experience with Cloud providers (AWS/GCP)
  • Strong English communications skills - written and verbal
  • Autonomous and self-motivated
