Job Description
Insight Global is looking for marine mechanics to support our federal client in Newport News, VA. These candidates will have at least 4 years of marine/hull mechanical experience. They will have experience working on: injection and transfer pumps, fire zone doors, fire main valves, chill water valves, vertical package conveyors, and other mechanical components. The hours for this position are Monday through Friday, 6 am - 2:30 pm, and the salary ranges between $20-$30/hr based on years of experience.

Skills and Requirements
4 years of marine mechanical experience.
Experience installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting pumps, valves, ACR systems, and motor-controlled pumps.
Ability to interpret naval schematics to complete tasks.
A very good understanding of NAVSEA standards. A former engineman (EM) or machinist's mate in the Navy is a great fit for this role.
