Job Summary

Accounting Clerk – Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk to support the Finance Department at Our Habitas Ras Abrouq . The role will assist with daily accounting transactions, documentation, data entry, reconciliations, and general financial administration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily accounting transactions and financial data entry.

  • Process invoices, receipts, payments, and other accounting documents.

  • Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.

  • Verify invoices, purchase orders, receipts, and supporting documents.

  • Maintain accurate and organized accounting records and files.

  • Support daily cash and revenue reconciliation.

  • Ensure transactions are properly coded and recorded.

  • Coordinate with other departments to resolve invoice and payment discrepancies.

  • Support internal and external audits by providing required documents.

  • Maintain confidentiality of financial and company information.

  • Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned by the Chief Accountant. Minimum Requirements

  • 1 year of experience in accounting or finance, preferably within a hotel, resort, or hospitality environment.

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • Experience with accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; knowledge of hotel accounting systems is an advantage.

  • Strong attention to detail with excellent numerical and analytical skills.

  • Ability to monitor daily transactions, verify invoices, process payments, and maintain accurate accounting records.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with internal departments and external parties.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and resolve accounting discrepancies.

  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism when handling financial information.
