Build, Repair & Restore Mobile Offices

Are you skilled with tools and enjoy hands-on work? We're looking for a Repair Technician to join our growing team in East Syracuse. In this role, you'll inspect, repair, and refurbish mobile office trailers and modular buildings, ensuring each unit is safe, functional, and customer-ready.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with experience in construction, maintenance, remodeling, carpentry, roofing, HVAC, electrical, or plumbing.

What You'll Do

🔹 Inspect returned mobile offices and modular units for repair needs

🔹 Perform carpentry repairs including walls, flooring, doors, trim, and structural components

🔹 Complete basic electrical repairs such as lighting, outlets, and breakers

🔹 Repair and install plumbing fixtures including sinks, toilets, and water systems

🔹 Troubleshoot and perform minor HVAC repairs

🔹 Replace damaged windows, doors, fixtures, flooring, and other components

🔹 Refurbish and prepare units for customer delivery

🔹 Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure long-term performance

🔹 Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment

🔹 Document repairs and materials used

🔹 Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

🔹 Work with the team to meet production goals and deadlines

What We're Looking For

Required Experience

✔ 1+ years of experience in:

• Construction

• Building Maintenance

• Remodeling

• Roofing

• Skilled Trades

• General Repair Work

✔ Experience using hand and power tools safely

✔ Basic carpentry experience

✔ Basic electrical troubleshooting and repair

✔ Basic plumbing repair and installation

✔ HVAC troubleshooting or repair experience

✔ Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship

✔ Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions

✔ Commitment to workplace safety

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of East Syracuse, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
