Summary

The Principal Consultant contributes to the Delivery Practice of NetSuite Professional Services.

You will be part of a team that assists customers with implementing Functional NetSuite Cloud

ERP Financials solutions. The role requires heavy interaction with customers, NetSuite

implementation teams and partners. As part of the Advertising, Media and Publishing team,

you will be expected to understand the nuances to agency, media, and publishing industry

practices nonprofit accounting and organizational needs. An experienced consulting

professional who has an understanding of solutions, industry best practices, multiple business

processes or technology designs within NetSuite ERP.

Qualifications include:

  • 3+ years of relevant professional experience TO INCLUDE NetSuite ERP Financialsfunctional solution implementation and/or administration. Competitive ERP solutionexperience will be considered.

  • Consulting role experience.

  • Project and/or team leadership experience.

  • Experience with defining requirements for complex customizations and integrations.

  • Ability to guide customer based on leading practices.

  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication as well as presentationskills.

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economic, Business Administration, Information Systems, Advertising/Marketing or related field

  • Deep understanding of business processes for services or advertising and media industry,including resource-to-projects, project-to-cash, procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, and generalaccounting.

  • ERP data migration and cutover experience

  • Experience defining requirements for complex customizations, integrations, workflows, andreporting.

  • Demonstrated ability to engage and influence Client personnel – Controllers, OperationsLeaders, Finance Directors, VP-level stakeholders, and C-level executives.

  • NetSuite ERP Consultant and/or other NetSuite certifications a plus.

  • Ability to travel on a modest to moderate basis, as appropriate.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the solution design ensuring high quality, integrated solutions within constraints of timeand budget.

  • Lead end-to-end NetSuite ERP implementations from discovery through go-live and stabilization.

  • Conduct in-depth requirements gathering sessions with customers to develop businessprocesses and determine configurations requirements in accordance with industry best practices.

  • Provide NetSuite consulting expertise by analyzing Analyze business needs to help ensureNetSuite Oracle solutions meet the customer’s objectives by combining industry best practices,product knowledge, and business acumen.

  • Advise customers on industry-leading practices across Project Management, Resource Management, Advanced Revenue Management, Financial Management and Reporting.

  • Partner with technical teams to design, validate, and deploy scalable business solutions.

  • Ensure solution quality and adherence to NetSuite implementation methodologies.

  • Provide direction and mentoring to project team members.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to customer executives, business leaders, and project sponsors.

  • Contribute to reusable assets, implementation accelerators, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.

  • Maintain expertise in NetSuite products, industry trends, and emerging technologies.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $87,000 to $187,000 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

  8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

  10. Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
