About Salesforce Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, where humans with agents drive customer success together. Here, ambition meets action. Tech meets trust. And innovation isn’t a buzzword — it’s a way of life. The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all.
Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You’re in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.
Business Development Representative (BDR)
Are you energized by the chase of a great opportunity? As a BDR at Salesforce, you'll be the spark that starts the sales engine — uncovering business needs, building pipeline, and creating the first great impression that turns prospects into customers. You'll partner closely with Program Managers and cross-functional teams to design campaigns, engage the right prospects, and hand off qualified opportunities to Sales — all while representing the Salesforce brand with the kind of experience that sets the stage for a lasting relationship.
What you'll be doing:
-
Partner with Program Managers and cross-functional teams to identify and generate new business opportunities.
-
Engage qualified leads through consultative conversations — understanding real business challenges and showing prospects the value we can bring.
-
Dig deep on research within target accounts to uncover key contacts and account intelligence that fuels smarter outreach.
-
Hunt for strategic new prospects that marketing hasn't found yet — and turn them into territory growth.
-
Meet or exceed pipeline targets by moving qualified leads to the next stage of the sales cycle.
-
Become fluent in our sales prospecting platforms, tools, and sales enablement resources.
-
Use customer challenges to recommend the right campaigns and events that drive engagement.
-
Build outstanding, trust-based relationships with every prospect you touch.
-
Keep your CRM data sharp — updating lead status and interactions daily.
-
Self-audit your activity to keep improving your craft.
-
Stay current on Salesforce products and market trends through webinars, our own platform, and marketing resources.
Who you are:
-
1–2 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field — including experience qualifying leads across levels (managers, directors, VPs, execs). We also value equivalent experience from leadership roles, military service, or volunteer work that builds the same core skills.
-
Naturally energetic and creative — you thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy sales environment.
-
A bold, out-of-the-box thinker who finds fresh angles and delivers quality work that stands out.
-
Comfortable and confident with standard corporate productivity tools.
Why you'll love it here:
-
Front-row seat to Salesforce's sales engine, with mentorship from experienced sales leaders.
-
A clear growth path — BDR is a launchpad into Account Executive and other sales career tracks.
-
A culture built on trust, customer success, and giving back (1-1-1 model).
