Waste Connections has an immediate opening for a 1st Shift PM Mechanicto join our team inLily, KY.

Our PM Mechanic will work directly with the Maintenance team to ensure safe diagnostics and maintenance of our truck fleet and equipment. We seek individuals with a leadership mentality and desire to grow with promotional opportunities in this role.

Schedule:10am to 8pm Monday through Friday and Saturdays as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Performs repairs (including electrical and hydraulic systems) and assigned preventive maintenance services.

Utilizes vehicle computer electronics systems to interpret failure modes to initiate or assign repairs.

Conducts safety checks on vehicles and equipment.

Completes required paperwork utilizing fleet maintenance software program associated with repairing vehicles, documenting parts usage, and accounting for repair times.

Reviews and completes repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports.

Maintains a clean, safe work area in compliance with corporate and OSHA standards.

Requirements:

1+ year(s) of experience with preventative maintenance.

Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record a plus!

Ability to work in all weather conditions.

Ability to lift at least 50lbs repeatedly.
