Job Duties
Westmor Industries is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Aluminum Welder to join our production team. In this role, you will tackle a variety of custom welding and fabrication tasks while maintaining a safe and organized workspace. We value precision and safety-and for the right candidate, we offer full training to bring you up to speed on our specific processes.
Key Responsibilities
Blueprint Reading: Accurately read and interpret blueprint drawings, dimensions, and welding symbols.
Surface Preparation: Clean, prep, and fit aluminum surfaces according to project specifications and requirements.
Equipment Operation: Set up, adjust, and fine-tune welder settings to ensure optimal weld quality and aesthetic.
Code Compliance: Perform welding tasks in full compliance with company standards and industry codes.
Material Handling: Safely operate overhead cranes, forklifts, and other material-handling machinery.
Safety & Maintenance: Adhere to all safety guidelines and keep your workspace clean and organized.
Compensation
The starting pay range for this position is $20-$26 per hour.
Final compensation will depend on various factors including: skills, experience, and location.
Day Shift
Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 4:30 pm
