Full job description

Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Maintenance Planner to join their team. As a Maintenance Planner, you will be part of the Hotline/Operations Group supporting production and maintenance teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, proactive problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Maintenance Planner

Location: Alcoa, TN

Pay Range: $32-$35

Shift: Days, Nights (40 hour)

What's the Job?

  • Ensure all information on Work Orders, Preventative Maintenance Orders, and Predictive Maintenance work is accurate and available to optimize craft personnel touch time.

  • Identify, obtain, stage, and document materials, tools, or equipment needed for maintenance tasks, ensuring parts are pre-kitted to reduce downtime.

  • Review completed work, schedule follow-up tasks, and update work information in Oracle eAM for continuous improvement.

  • Utilize Lean Manufacturing tools and principles to enhance maintenance processes and efficiency.

  • Maintain work schedules, plan outages, and coordinate safety, health, and environmental considerations prior to scheduling work.

What's Needed?

  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts on a rotating schedule, including every other weekend.

  • Strong organizational and communication skills to coordinate between production, engineering, and maintenance teams.

  • Experience with data entry, record keeping, and documentation management.

  • Knowledge of Oracle eAM or similar maintenance management systems is preferred.

  • Flexibility to work day or night shifts based on business needs.
