SkillStorm builds technology talent for Fortune 100 companies and U.S. government agencies. We're looking for early-career technology professionals with at least 1 year of professional technical experience who are ready to take the next step into software engineering.

In this role, you'll work with enterprise clients to develop, maintain, and support software applications while continuing to build your technical skills through SkillStorm's structured training, mentorship, and professional development programs.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related technical field

  • At least 1 year of paid W2 experience in a technical role

  • Working knowledge of programming fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, databases, and SQL

  • Experience with an object-oriented programming language such as Java or C#

  • Strong problem-solving and logical reasoning skills

  • Good written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to obtain a U.S. government security clearance

  • Willingness to relocate for client placement

  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S. on SkillStorm's W2

What You'll Do

  • Develop and enhance software applications

  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and defects

  • Participate in code reviews and software development activities

  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions

  • Support software testing and deployment
