Job Description

The Maintenance Technician at New Flyer is responsible for conducting routine maintenance and repairs on various equipment and systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability. This role is vital to maintaining the production environment and supporting the operational capabilities of the facility.

Key responsibilities include troubleshooting equipment failures, performing preventive maintenance, and executing repairs in a timely manner. This role demands a proactive approach to maintenance and a dedication to safety standards.

Shift: Mon-Thurs 4:00 PM - 2:30 AM

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree is preferred.

  • 3-5 years experience in an industrial maintenance role or equivalent.

  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.

  • Familiarity with hydraulic, pneumatic, and HVAC systems.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.

  • Basic computer skills for maintenance management software use.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends as needed.
