Full job description
We are seeking a highly motivated Senior FW MNG Architect to join our team of specialists and help build the future of high-performance computing. Our next InfiniBand, NVL, and Ethernet switches will play a key role in linking and powering some of the most advanced compute clusters globally. In this Architect role, you will define the Architecture of the firmware management of our next-generation switches that support many innovative compute clusters and supercomputers.
What you'll be doing:
- Collaborate with multi-functional teams, including other architecture teams, system software, firmware, and hardware teams, to ensure the successful execution of the project.
- Defining the build framework for firmware management, power, and thermal running on switches.
- Helping to determine and implement the strategic vision for NVIDIA networking alongside adjacent software and hardware architect
What we need to see:
- BSc or MSc in Electrical Engineering / Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of practical experience in firmware design and/or firmware architecture.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively work with diverse teams and collaborators.
- Can-do attitude and high energy with leadership and excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to learn sophisticated concepts in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong managerial, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
- Knowledge of Ethernet/IP technologies, cloud, or data-center technologies.
- Experience in programming computer networks.
- Strong understanding of system build principles.
