Full job description
Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Speech Language Pathologist, you will actively deliver high-quality individual or group therapy sessions targeting specific speech or swallowing deficits.
Every day you will prioritize, creating personalized, evidence-based care plans with measurable short and long term functional goals.
To be successful in this role, you will coordinate care with doctors, teachers, occupational therapists, and physical therapists.

Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work tactfully and effectively with fellow staff members physicians hospital departments and the general public.

Demonstrates knowledge of teaching and leadership skills including a proficiency for conceptual thinking motivating teaching principles and problem solving.

Demonstrates advanced working knowledge of the principles standard practices procedures and equipment utilized in the department.

Ability and willingness to actively participate in departmental and hospital programs.

Demonstrates self-motivation and ability to achieve results through good organizational skills.

Knowledge and understanding of pertinent standards and regulations including DHS and The Joint Commission.
Job Requirements
Required
-
Minimum of two (2) years clinical experience
-
Current California State license in Speech Therapy (LIC SLP)

Current AHA CPR certification (CT CPRBLS)

Pay Range
$49.78 - $74.05 /hour
