As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver in Butlerville, IN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a government location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to situations as needed, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and government facility stakeholders while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.

  • Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.

  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of government buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.

  • Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for personnel, visitors, vendors, and vehicles in accordance with site requirements.

  • Prepare clear, accurate reports documenting patrols, incidents, observations, and actions taken, and maintain required firearms qualifications and equipment in accordance with applicable policies.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.

  • Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.

  • Have at least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.

  • Be at least 21 years of age.

  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
