A privately owned real estate investment and development company that has been building and managing properties fpr over 25 years is seeking a Finance Manager to help shape and lead the finance function for its growing portfolio. This is a rare opportunity to step into a highly visible role where you'll partner directly with executive leadership and help build processes, structure, and best practices from the ground up.

What You'll Own

• Oversee accounting operations across multiple real estate entities
• Manage property accounting, property taxes, and insurance activities
• Lead CAM reconciliations across the portfolio
• Handle construction accounting for three active developments, including a major mixed-use "live/work/play" project currently underway
• Develop and manage WIP reporting, lien releases, and asset component tracking processes
• Build accounting workflows, SOPs, and financial controls for the real estate division
• Partner closely with the SVP of Asset Management to help establish and scale the finance function
• Supervise and mentor a small team
• Introduce new ideas, efficiencies, and best practices to strengthen the organization
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting across all entities
• Utilize Yardi to manage accounting and property-related functions

Qualifications ✔ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field ✔ Commercial real estate accounting experience REQUIRED ✔ 5+ years of accounting leadership experience ✔ Experience with CAM reconciliations and job costing ✔ Hands-on experience with Yardi ✔ Experience building a department, setting up SOPs, etc. ✔ Strong process improvement mindset and ability to implement best practices *************LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY ********* Please Note: This position is open to candidates who are authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future visa sponsorship.
