Are you mechanically inclined and looking to grow your manufacturing career? We are seeking motivated Machine Operators to join our team producing high-quality precision metal fasteners and components. What You'll Do

  • Set up, operate, and monitor manual and CNC machines

  • Manufacture precision metal fasteners and components according to specifications

  • Perform machine adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency

  • Inspect finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards

  • Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and production documents

  • Use measuring tools to verify dimensions and product accuracy

  • Troubleshoot minor machine issues and report maintenance needs

  • Follow all safety procedures and quality requirements

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area

What We're Looking For

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

  • Manufacturing or production experience

  • Experience using hand tools and power tools

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

  • Reliable attendance and a positive team-oriented attitude

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ year of machine operating experience in a metal fabrication or manufacturing environment

  • Experience operating CNC and/or manual machinery

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

  • Experience using calipers, micrometers, tape measures, and other precision measuring instruments

  • Knowledge of manufacturing safety practices and quality control procedures

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Peru, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.50/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms. If eligible, the benefits available for this temporary role may include the following:
