Description
Evaluate, plan, direct and administer medically prescribed speech/language pathology programs in the hospital to restore function and prevent disability following disease or injury. Assist patients to reach their maximum performance and assume a place in society while learning to live within the limits of their capabilities. Participate in department Performance Improvement, Infection Control, Safety and Education programs.

Required Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Speech Language or Speech Language Pathology, Communication Sciences and Disorders, or closely related field Washington State Speech Language Pathologist license

1 year of experience as Speech Language Pathologist
-
1 year of hospital-wide experience delivering therapy to patients with speech, language, and cognitive communication disorders and dysphagia.

1 year of diagnostic experience with MBS procedures.

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
