3 years’ experience as a Process Engineer, Support Engineer or any closely related position. Must have demonstrated experience in the medical device manufacturing industry.

Minimum Education Required

Bachelor’s degree in Robotics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or any closely related field (or foreign equivalent). Employer will accept a 3- or 4-year bachelor's degree which has been found to be equivalent to a U.S. degree as determined by a credential evaluation service.

Job Description

Responsible for assisting with the implementation of new machines and technologies in the manufacturing of Bone Anchored Hearing Devices ("BAHS"). Responsible for contributing to the design and modification of existing production processes in line with development of new BAHS products. Support new product research and development by conducting Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) to identify potential operational failures related to the company's manufacturing processes and possible vulnerabilities in productivity, quality, and safety. Help create training curricula and assist with providing instruction on various industrial and operational processes. Help conduct product/process commissioning and provide engineering support for existing processes. Collaborate with engineering and technical support teams in the creation of technically feasible prototypes and test samples to meet consumer and operational objectives. Design, develop, and test techniques to accurately assess product and process performance specifications at the direction of manufacturing managers. Perform other, similar related tasks as necessary. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Robotics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or any closely related field (or foreign equivalent) and 3 years’ experience as a Process Engineer, Support Engineer or any closely related position. Must have demonstrated experience in the medical device manufacturing industry.
