Full job description

Description We are looking for a Customer Service Manager to lead a high-performing support team in Commerce, California. This Contract to permanent opportunity is ideal for a hands-on leader who can guide daily customer service operations while also stepping in to resolve complex issues and support order activity. The role partners closely with cross-functional teams to improve service delivery, maintain accurate customer information, and drive a responsive, efficient customer experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and strengthen the customer service team to promote strong execution, accountability, and a high standard of client support.

  • Participate directly in day-to-day service activities by assisting with customer questions, managing orders, and handling elevated concerns when needed.

  • Direct daily workflow related to order intake, processing, and customer account administration to ensure timely and accurate completion.

  • Work closely with sales, production, logistics, and operations partners to support smooth fulfillment and dependable communication across departments.

  • Review service processes and team output to identify inefficiencies, remove obstacles, and improve operational performance.

  • Maintain accurate customer records, pricing details, and order data within internal systems and ERP platforms.

  • Monitor service metrics and use performance data to implement improvements that enhance responsiveness, quality, and productivity.

  • Create a collaborative team environment that encourages focused growth while reinforcing clear performance expectations.

  • Contribute to department-wide projects and additional business priorities as assigned. Requirements • 7+ years of customer service experience, with industry background in apparel, fashion, or retail strongly preferred.

  • 3+ years of leadership experience managing customer service teams and developing staff performance.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead from the front by actively supporting daily operations alongside the team.

  • Strong background in order entry, customer account support, and ERP or order management systems such as NetSuite or similar platforms.

  • Clear verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively across multiple departments.

  • Excellent organizational ability, sound attention to detail, and the capacity to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.

  • Bilingual Spanish skills and strong problem-solving or conflict-resolution capabilities are a plus. TalentMatch®
