Full job description

Reporting to the Procurement Manager, you will develop sourcing strategies, identify material opportunities and risks, and collaborate across the supply chain to drive innovation and cost savings. You will support new product introductions by providing visibility to material requirements, supplier readiness, and procurement-related risks while serving as a liaison between Procurement and cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of innovation and renovation initiatives.

A Taste Of Your Responsibilities

  • Own Procurement engagement in the new product introduction process with primary responsibility for driving visibility and communication on materials through the early stages of project development.
  • Provide visibility to the innovation and renovation pipeline, including material requirements, timelines, and key milestones.
  • Represent Procurement in innovation forums, highlighting supply risks, lead times, unique ingredients, packaging considerations, and other factors that may impact project execution.
  • Ensure ingredients and packaging materials are available to support innovation, renovation, and ongoing production requirements while balancing volume sensitivity and supply continuity.
  • Foster productive relationships with internal stakeholders across the organization.
  • Represent the Procurement function on Supply Chain end-to-end teams and communicate business initiative requirements and sourcing strategies to broader planning and procurement organizations.
  • Support sourcing strategies and cost savings initiatives through participation in cross-functional project teams and working groups.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement across procurement processes, inventory management, and materials planning.

Ingredients Required For Your Success

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 2+ years of experience in Purchasing, Supply Chain, Commodity Trading, Finance, or a related field; consumer packaged goods experience preferred.
  • Strategic thinking skills with the capacity to rapidly assess issues and deliver solutions.
  • Experience driving results through collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated success leading projects and influencing cross-functional teams.
  • Strong relationship-building, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Advanced analytical capabilities and business acumen.
  • Ability to present information to diverse audiences.

Compensation

Pay Range:$64,000-$95,000

The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
