Barclays Services Corp. seeks Penetration Tester, AVP in Whippany, NJ (multiple positions).

JOB DUTIES:

  1. Scope and execute penetration tests and code review against a variety of technologies including web application, mobile, infrastructure, and cloud.

  2. Work collaboratively with a variety of internal stakeholders to deliver high quality penetration tests.

  3. Collaborate with global team and external entities to deliver Security Assurance Services.

  4. Analyse and review security issues identified.

  5. Supplement automated assessment techniques with manual security assessment approaches.

  6. Communicate security issues identified and mitigation/remediation options to development community.

  7. Research new and emerging threats, counter controls and technologies affecting various platforms.

  8. Build upon the existing service request model, processes and supporting technologies.

  9. Provide reports which highlight and clearly articulate vulnerabilities and weaknesses to clients in terms they understand.

  10. Contribute both on an individual assessment basis as well as a global strategic basis to raise the security posture across the organisation.

  11. Work within virtual teams of security and technical specialists to ensure quality delivery of leading security assurance services to our internal clients.

  12. Innovate towards the goal of establishing novel security assurance services and the enhancement of existing services.

  13. May telecommute pursuant to company policies. [Hybrid role]

REQUIREMENTS: Employer will accept a Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computing Security, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in a related penetration testing role. Candidate must hold CREST/OSCP/SANS or equivalent penetration testing certification.

RATE OF PAY: $168,500.00 to $170,000.00 per year

The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above includes only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any another type of compensation or benefits that may be available. Barclays employees are eligible for a suite of a competitive and generous employee benefits, including medical, dental and vision coverage, 401(k), life insurance, and other paid leave for qualifying circumstances. This position is eligible for an incentive award.
