About the role

The Commercialization Manager (based in Beloit, Wisconsin) you will be responsible for executing the Commercialization process to drive the growth of the Food and the Meat Seasonings business.

The purpose of the Commercialization Manager is to oversee commercialization’s associated with to support delivery of top line growth for our business as well as meeting the ‘right the first time’, accuracy and speed requirements of our customers.

Key responsibilities

  • Oversight and tracking of all Commercialization projects from business approval through execution at both Kerry internal sites and third-party manufacturers

  • Ensuring commercialization teams are meeting project milestones, KPI’s and global SLA’s

  • Maintaining an understanding of project complexity and assigning commercialization management resources appropriately

  • Ensuring all NPI projects are populated with a likely tentative plant and engaging cross functional team - Operations, R&D, Supply Chain, Quality, Procurement, Engineering etc. for validation based on opportunity parameters and customer requirements

  • Providing leadership to direct reporting commercialization specialists/managers and coaching on project management best practices and improvement

  • Manage risk assessment and contingency planning, communicate risk and action plans to stakeholders, and own execution of action plans

  • Challenging teams to quickly and efficiently reach full commercialization with minimal waste (raw materials, packaging) high margin and low risk objectives.

  • Contributing to the development and maintenance of procedures and guidelines that facilitate efficient product scale up and launch as well as communication methods and training tools to support employees involved in product commercialization

  • Continuously looking for ways to improve project management and processes connected to the commercialization process

  • Completing business review of opportunities post execution to identify whether opportunities met revenue, volume, growth, and quality expectations as identified in the opportunity at project onset

  • Developing strong working relationships with all business functions that are involved in commercialization.

Qualifications and skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in any relevant field, preferably with a science/business/technical background

  • Three plus years of project management experience, including tracking and planning projects

  • Strong leadership, diplomatic, motivational, and organizational skills. Ability to communicate, develop, manage and implement process management plans.

  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation, and excellence

  • High level of corporate maturity with ability to interact, influence and align peers and senior leaders

The typical base salary hiring range for this role is $88,100 to $144,800 annually and is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, location, etc. In addition to your pay, Kerry offers benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and retirement contribution (all benefits and incentives are subject to eligibility requirements).
