Robotic/Automation Maintenance Technician (2nd shift MON-THURS) in Webster, NY

Are you a maintenance professional looking to expand your skills into robotics and automation? Our client is seeking a Robotic Maintenance Technician to support a highly automated precision manufacturing operation serving industries including medical, automotive, telecommunications, transportation, and more. What You'll Do

  • Trained on how to Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair robotic manufacturing equipment
  • Perform preventive maintenance to maximize equipment uptime
  • Learn to Troubleshoot PLCs, sensors
  • Install, program, and repair robot controllers, conveyors, and end-of-arm tooling
  • Read blueprints, machine manuals, and technical documentation
  • Replace defective motors, controllers, encoders, sensors, and circuit boards
  • Maintain maintenance records and inventory of replacement components
  • Respond to equipment breakdowns and emergency maintenance situations when needed

Qualifications

  • Previous manufacturing maintenance experience
  • Mechanical troubleshooting skills with hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems
  • Ability to read blueprints and equipment manuals
  • Experience using hand and power tools along with mechanical testing equipment
  • Willingness to learn robotic systems and automation technology
  • Flexibility to support emergency maintenance needs

Schedule

  • Monday–Thursday
  • 2:30 PM–1:00 AM
  • Four 10-hour shifts / 3 day weekend!

Compensation & Benefits

  • up to $34/hour based on experience PLUS $1.50/hour shift differential
