Hours: Rotating/Flex

Location: Mishawaka, IN

About the Job:

Performs all diagnostic EKG procedures and holter applications. Performs all duties related to record transcription and record delivery to proper areas.

What You'll Do:

Requirements:

  • Actively demonstrates the organization’s mission and core values, and conducts oneself at all times in a manner consistent with these values.
  • Knows and adheres to all laws and regulations pertaining to patient health, safety and medical information.
  • Performs EKG’s in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Demonstrates age specific competencies.
  • Uses a magnet for pacemaker detection.
  • Obtains necessary data and orders for patient testing.
  • Maintains skills to recognize abnormalities in EKG tracings and reports critical abnormalities to physician.
  • Applies holter monitor using proper skin preparation technique. Transcribes all interpretation of EKG’s and holters.
  • Cleans all equipment utilizing proper infection control and safety measures routinely.

What You'll Need:

  • Education: High School Graduate.
  • Licensure: CPR certified.

Experience: One year’s experience in allied health profession preferred. Computer experience preferred.
