Security Officer – Cultural Center Control Room

Location : Houston, TX - 77017

Position : Security Officer – ROVER PATROL / GATE HOUSE

Type : Full-Time

We are seeking a professional, experienced Security Officer to work rover patrol and gate house of an upscale cultural center. The ideal candidate will be dependable, alert, professional, and comfortable in a busy public facility.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring the garage and the facility roving patrol and relieving officers for breaks, and building activity.

  • Maintain constant awareness of security and safety conditions.

  • Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and emergencies.

  • Monitor and control building access.

  • Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and management.

  • Document incidents and complete accurate daily activity reports.

  • Coordinate with officers assigned to the property when needed.

  • Follow all site security procedures and emergency protocols.

  • Maintain confidentiality and a professional appearance at all times.

  • Multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail.

Qualifications:

  • Previous security experience required.

  • Experience in a cultural center, museum, upscale facility, high-rise, hotel, or similar environment is a plus.

  • Strong communication and customer service skills.

  • Ability to remain calm and professional during emergencies.

  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.

  • Reliable attendance and punctuality.

  • Professional appearance and demeanor.

  • Valid Texas security license required.

SATURDAY - 8AM-8PM (rover)

SUNDAY 8AM - 8PM (rover)

MONDAY - OFF

TUESDAY- OFF

WEDNESDAY - 7AM-3PM (gate house)

THURSDAY - 7AM - 3PM (gate house)

FRIDAY - OFF

THURSDAY – OFF

FRIDAY – OFF
