Mild/Moderate Special Education Teacher – RSP / SDC

South Gate, Huntington Park, East Los Angeles CA (Areas) | 2026–2027 School Year | Full-Time | Weekly Pay

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is hiring passionate Special Education Teachers for multiple full-time school-based openings for the 2026–2027 school year.

We have opportunities across a variety of settings, including:

  • Resource Specialist Program (RSP)

  • Special Day Class (SDC)

  • Mild/Moderate Support Needs

  • Extensive Support Needs (ESN)

This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working alongside supportive school teams to help students thrive academically, socially, and behaviorally.

Position Highlights

  • Full-time, school-based schedule

  • 2026–2027 academic year assignment

  • Multiple openings across programs and grade levels

  • Weekly competitive pay (based on experience)

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

  • Deliver specialized instruction aligned with student goals

  • Participate in IEP meetings and team discussions

  • Adapt curriculum and instructional strategies for diverse needs

Qualifications

  • Valid California Education Specialist Teaching Credential
