Dental Assistant (Endodontic) Duties & Responsibilities:
-
Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments and maintain strict infection control.

Assist the endodontist during root canal and related procedures, including suction, irrigation, and passing instruments.
-
Take and process dental radiographs/CBCT scans, review patient histories, and document treatment notes accurately.
-
Educate and support patients before, during and after procedures, including clear post- op instructions.
-
Coordinate with the front office on scheduling, referrals, and follow-up communication with patients and referring to dentists.

Manage supplies and equipment, including inventory ordering and upkeep of endodontic materials.

Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and safety regulations while fostering a positive, team-oriented environment.
Minimum Qualifications:
-
Current, valid, and unrestrictedCO license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.

Dental Assistant Certification.
-
Experience as an Endodontics Assistant.

Familiarity with dental software and charting systems.

Completion of an accredited Dental Assistant program.

OR -one (1) year of hands-on experience as a Dental Assistant.

X-ray certification. 1-2 years experience.

Copy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.
