Local Pay: $26.00/hour

Dental Assistant (Endodontic) Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments and maintain strict infection control.

  • Assist the endodontist during root canal and related procedures, including suction, irrigation, and passing instruments.

  • Take and process dental radiographs/CBCT scans, review patient histories, and document treatment notes accurately.

  • Educate and support patients before, during and after procedures, including clear post- op instructions.

  • Coordinate with the front office on scheduling, referrals, and follow-up communication with patients and referring to dentists.

  • Manage supplies and equipment, including inventory ordering and upkeep of endodontic materials.

  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and safety regulations while fostering a positive, team-oriented environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Current, valid, and unrestrictedCO license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.

  • Dental Assistant Certification.

  • Experience as an Endodontics Assistant.

  • Familiarity with dental software and charting systems.

  • Completion of an accredited Dental Assistant program.

  • OR -one (1) year of hands-on experience as a Dental Assistant.

  • X-ray certification. 1-2 years experience.

  • Copy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.

  • Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents.
