Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a IT Procurement Manager to own vendor management and contract negotiations across the IT organization of a large 12-hospital health system out of Baltimore, MD. This individual will independently manage the full lifecycle of vendor engagements, partnering directly with internal business owners and external vendors to negotiate pricing, terms, and renewals while ensuring agreements align with organizational policies. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading contract negotiations for large-scale IT spend (including infrastructure, networking, and SaaS agreements), driving best-and-final offers through RFP processes, managing contract renewals, and identifying opportunities to reduce costs and improve value across a broad portfolio of agreements. The role requires strong cross-functional collaboration, as the individual will regularly engage with IT leadership, finance, and business stakeholders to understand needs and execute deals efficiently and on time. This position is less focused on legal drafting and more on commercial strategy—requiring someone with a procurement or supply chain mindset who can structure deals, benchmark vendors, avoid automatic cost escalations, and consistently drive measurable savings. Over time, this individual may also help build out a more structured negotiation function and support an analyst focused on reporting and contract pipeline insights.
