Successful candidates bring Master's Degree in Nursing, 2+ Years RN Experience, and Current CRNP License Pennsylvania. Preferred (not required): Pathophysiology, Physical Assessment And Diagnosis, Pharmacology, and Health Promotion.

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

By utilizing the nursing process, scientific reasoning and critical problem solving, NPs practice within the scope of responsibilities and prescriptive authority defined by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing and the Medical Staff Executive at the Penn State Hershey Medical Center.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):

Masters Degree in Nursing with clinical specialization required.

Two (2) years' work experience as a RN required.

Current licensed to practice as a CRNP by Pennsylvania Board of Nurse Examiners required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):
- Certification as an NP in the area of practice specialization is preferred.
