Full job description

Flex between Royal Oak, Troy, Grosse Pointe, and Farmington Hills - Casual/PRN position must work a minimum of 72 hours in 6 weeks.

Our Respiratory Care Department is dedicated to providing comprehensive respiratory therapy services to patients of all ages. Our team of skilled respiratory therapists works collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care, including advanced diagnostic testing, therapeutic interventions, and patient education. We utilize the latest technology and evidence-based practices to manage and treat a wide range of respiratory conditions, ensuring our patients receive the best possible outcomes. Scope of Work

The Respiratory Therapist Flex B agrees to float within assigned hospitals throughout Corewell Health East. This position is scheduled and reports to the Corewell Health East Flex Office located at the Corewell Health Southfield Center.Under minimal direction, the Registered Respiratory Therapist: implements and evaluates diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory services to assist physicians in the diagnosis and management of patients with cardiopulmonary and related disorders; participates in the education of patients, students, staff and physicians; provides technical support for all equipment related to the practice of Respiratory Care; assists with general department functions.

Qualifications

  • Required Associate's Degree Respiratory Therapy

  • Eligible for position after attainment of RRT NBRC status. Required

  • 3 years of relevant experience 3 years clinical experience. Required

  • LIC-Respiratory Therapist - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required

  • CRT-Respiratory Therapist Registry - NBRC National Board for Respiratory Care Upon Hire required

  • CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association Upon Hire required Or

  • CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross Upon Hire required
