BigBear.ai is seeking a talented Emulation Developer to design, develop, and test application software for emulation needs across Windows, Unix, and other platforms. Join a collaborative team working on high-impact projects in a fast-paced, agile environment, where your skills will directly support national security and critical operations.

What you will do

  • Design, develop, and test application software to fulfill emulation needs on Windows, Unix, or other specified platforms.• Build applications using specified programming languages as directed by the Government.• Develop custom graphical user interfaces (GUIs) for applications.• Respond to evolving requirements and adapt quickly in an agile development environment.• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to deliver robust, reliable solutions.

What you need to have

  • Clearance: Active TS/SCI with Poly (required).

  • Experience:

  • Minimum two (2) years in a commercial, Government, or academic setting; OR

  • Four (4) years academic experience developing with object-oriented programming languages.

  • Technical Skills:

  • Minimum one (1) year experience developing Windows applications using Visual Studio or .NET; OR

  • Minimum one (1) year experience developing Unix applications using make files or comparable build environment, developing complex programs using C, C#, C++, Java, or other comparable languages.

  • One (1) year development experience may be credited for appropriate coursework in Windows or Unix programming, completed as part of an awarded Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.

What we'd like you to have

  • Experience developing complex programs using C, C#, C++, Java, or other comparable languages.

  • Experience implementing software life cycle management (requirements, design, development, testing, validation, and deployment).

  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies and adapting to changing requirements.
