Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $21/hour

Shift: Occasional second shift work possible

What’s a typical day as Junior Milling Operator? You’ll be:

  • Operating milling and CNC production lines to manufacture parts

  • Setting up woodworking and plastics processing machines, troubleshooting issues as needed

  • Using computers for machine programming and material transactions

  • Working with both Imperial and Metric measuring systems

  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings and instructions

  • Managing inventory movements and documentation

  • Assisting in quality control and collaborating with team members

  • Maintaining safety and cleanliness on the shop floor

  • Performing other duties as assigned

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

  • Are at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent (advanced education a plus)

  • Have a minimum of 5 years’ experience with production equipment

  • Bring experience with woodworking/plastics machinery (preferred)

  • Possess basic reading, writing, math, and technical drawing skills

  • Can pass a pre-employment drug screening

  • Are dependable, punctual, and an effective team player and communicator

  • Have basic computer literacy and mechanical aptitude

  • Are comfortable working with measurements and technical documents

  • Have strong attention to detail, a safety focus, and a willingness to learn

  • Can bend, lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and use tools

  • Are able to operate a forklift (training provided)

  • Have good visual and hearing capacity and can work in variable warehouse conditions
