Full job description

Our Client, an Aerospace and Defense company, is looking for multiple Composite Technicians for their Stratford, CT location. Responsibilities:

  • Performs a variety of duties in composite development and experimental prototype fabrication and assembly.

  • Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains composite related equipment, tooling, and prototype components.

  • Works from composite layup schematics, engineering drawings, and written or verbal instructions.

  • Operates specialized fabrication equipment, conducts experimental builds, tests, and reports data in prescribed format.

  • Performs calibration and alignment checks; makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed; prepares custom resin systems, hardeners, and curing solutions.

Requirements:

  • Experience related to composite fabrication

  • Experience with fabrication related tooling and equipment

  • H.S. Diploma or equivalent
