Full job description
Job Description:
Drawing and producing solid wire for packaging according to Route Card / process sheet and production schedule requirements.

Operate safely and identify, report, and correct unsafe situations.

Follow process specifications for machine setup and production.
-
Complete machine setup, change over, and troubleshooting in a timely manner.
-
Perform specified quality checks including visual inspections.
-
Enter data in Route Card including quality checks and product specification.
-
Place nonconforming products on hold.
-
Report maintenance issues as they arise.
-
Operate a forklift and electric pallet jack.
-
Perform restock and housekeeping.
-
Read and followproductionschedule.
-
Willing to train on and operate other machines / processes, as necessary.

Run multiple machines simultaneously.
-
Monitor multiple liquid tanks for appropriate fill level and temperature.
Qualifications
-
Training onapplicable Draw Bench machinery is preferred.
-
Previous forklift experience is preferred but not required.

Able to safely load / unload reels in and out of machine.
-
Able to meet/exceed specified production rates.
-
Possess an excellent quality record.
-
Able to work overtime when required.
-
Able to meet expectations for safety, attendance, and time management.

Possess an excellent attitude, communication, and team working skills.

Able to work continuously in a non-climate-controlled environment.
