Job Details

Responsibilities:

  • Mentor, supervise, and evaluate the team to reach their full potential and inspire continual professional growth

  • Be responsible for the scheduling of the day shift

  • Handle patient relations issues

  • Regularly assess unit operations and identify process improvements to enhance the patient experience

  • Assess and evaluate patient needs for, and responses to, care rendered and applies sound nursing judgment in patient care management decisions

  • Coordinate patient care activities, based on established priorities, including teaching, rounding, counseling, and discharge planning, and directs/delegates appropriately to members of the health care team.

  • Communicate effectively and professionally with patients, significant others, and members of the health care team about the patient's plan of care

Qualifications:

  • BSN required, Master's Degree preferred

  • Related Certification preferred (ex: CNAMB, CGRN, CNOR, CNML)

  • Minimally one year related clinical experience required

  • Management experience preferred

  • RN Licensed professional nurse in the State of New York

  • ACLS and BLS certified from the American Heart Association

  • Competent in data collection and analysis and the application of statistical tools

Salary Range

USD $58.84 - USD $80.70 /Hr.

This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
