Summary: The whey operator is responsible for monitoring the whey levels and ensuring that all trucks are loaded safely & efficiently. The responsibilities of this position include: Load tank trucks safely and efficiently with whey or bad yogurt. Accurately program filling levels and top off tanks, and document all load volumes, times, and destinations. Manage silo levels to control the inflow and outflow of whey. Perform CIP on all truck tanks, silos and whey lines, and complete proper documentation. Troubleshoot any temperature hold issues, and document & resolve any problems. Clean and maintain all bays. Maintain and communicate the load & unload order to insure whey doesn't sit in silos too long. Prepare trucks for departures making sure to rinse off tanks and tighten all valves to ensure there isn't any whey leaking out. Monitor chemical levels, and communicate when more is needed; replenishing as necessary. Perform other duties or assigned. Follow Chobani safety procedures. Follow Good Manufacturing Practices. The requirements of this position include: 3 or more months of experience in a production environment. CIP or processing experience is a plus. High school diploma or equivalent. The salary range for this full-time position is $24.25 - $30.75, + bonus + equity + benefits. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
