About Coeur d'Alene Resort

Our resort is known for exceptional hospitality and upscale accommodations. We are seeking a reliable, guest-focused, and physically capable individual to join our Room Service team in a unique dual role as Lead Cashier and Room Service Server.

The Role

This position combines the leadership and accuracy of a cashier with the personalized service of a server. You will support smooth room service operations, ensure accurate cash handling, and deliver meals and beverages to guest rooms with professionalism and care. This role requires flexibility, strong teamwork, and stamina, as room service can be physically demanding.

Schedule & Availability

  • Must be flexible to work both AM and PM shifts

  • AM shifts: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM

  • PM shifts: 2:00 PM – 10:00/11:00 PM

  • Weekends and holidays are required

  • No “clopen” shifts (you will not be scheduled to close and open back-to-back)

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform lead cashier duties, including managing payments, reconciling cash, and ensuring register accuracy

  • Coordinate room service orders and maintain clear communication with the kitchen and service teams

  • Deliver food and beverage orders promptly and courteously to guest rooms

  • Set up trays and present meals with attention to detail and guest satisfaction

  • Handle guest requests professionally and resolve concerns quickly

  • Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient operations

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, carts, and equipment

  • Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines

Benefits & Compensation

Compensation

  • Lead Cashier: $8.00/hour + tips

  • Room Service Server: $4.35/hour + tips
