Job Summary:
Geisinger Eye Institute has an opening for a retina medical and/or surgical specialist to join their well-established practice with multi-specialty Ophthalmologists and Optometrists. Opportunities to develop a program, perform research, and teach residents in a large, tertiary referral center. A truly great opportunity to join the ever-growing Geisinger system. Growing ophthalmology residency at Geisinger gives great opportunity to mentor and teach

Highly trained and experienced support and medical staff

Extensive diagnosis/treatment tools including OCT/OCAT/ fluorescein and ICG angiography, widefiled imaging, echogrpahy, and photodynamic therapy.

Geisinger owned surgical facilities- on main campus and nearby outpatient surgery center

Support from Advance Practitioners

Clinics have over 50 exam rooms

Shared call (home call)

A large referral base from our onsite Optometrists, local Ophthalmologists and physicians in our satellite offices

Qualifications MD or DO degree Board Certified/Board Eligible Eligibility for Pennsylvania medical licensure
