GENERAL OVERVIEW:
The mobility technician will collaborate with nursing leadership, rehab services, quality, patient care technicians, physicians, and therapists.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
-
Coordinate and facilitate early mobility interventions (40%)

Assist staff with mobilizing complex and high risk patients (20%)
-
Updates patient EMR as directed- including white boards (10%)
-
Educate staff regarding safe patient handling equipment and mobility tool (10%)
-
Serve as an active member of the mobility and fall team (10%)
-
Monitor mobility metrics and lead performance improvement initiatives (10%)

Other duties as assigned or requested.
Q UALIFICATIONS:
Required

High School/GED
-
CPR – American Heart Association
-
Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate

Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate

Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate

**** Working Schedule Hours****
Full time - 36 hours work week. Must be flexible to work 8 hour days/evenings with fair share weekends and holidays.
