Job Description

Working from electrical schematics, employees are expected to mount components onto panels or into assemblies per engineering detail and / or established work methods. After component mounting employees are required to install control and power wiring in a neat and organized method. Wiring methods and workmanship must be completed with an attention to detail, consistency, appearance and accuracy. All employees are expected to take pride in their work and proof their work for errors. Electrical technicians are expected to have and maintain a working knowledge of the national electric code, industry standards for quality standards and Kinetics workmanship / work method standards.

Manufacture of:

  • Constant potential diode power supplies in the 1 to 2000 kilowatt range

  • SCR regulated rectifiers in the 1 to 2000 kilowatt range

  • Magnet power and controllers

  • Synchronous motor field excitation systems for brush and brushless motors

  • Dry type transformers 1 to 2200 KVA

  • KinetSync SR/NB digital annunciation & logic modules for synchronous motors

  • Electro-mechanical control and automation
